Ever scraped someone else’s gum off the bottom of your shoe?
If so why don’t you stop and think about this. Who’s gum was it? Was it mine? Was it someone famous who spit it out on their way to their car or was it just some ordinary everyday person? What did the person look like? Where they pretty? Why did they spit the gum out? Did it fall from their mouth or did they just get sick of its taste? What flavor was the gum? Did the person enjoy the gum? What was the person doing while they chewed the gum? Why where they chewing the gum? To relax them or just to freshen there breath for a kiss? When was the person chewing the gum? How long had the gum been on the ground? How long had the gum been on your shoe? No matter if you can answer one or two of these questions it is obvious what you have stuck to your shoe is not only a piece of gum...its a piece of someone else’s life. Just a small piece but still a piece.
